HAITI READ-A-THON NEWS...
Our summer reading fundraiser is coming the end. The closing ceremony will be next Sunday at 11:30 in St. Nick's church yard. The location for this event has been change so please make a note of it. Mother Mag from Zion will be there presenting and the outreach committee will be hosting coffee hour. Sponsors, if you have sponsored a reader now is the time to check in and make your donations. Save the date and hope to see you there!
SUNDAY SCHOOL Next Sunday, September 11th, will be the first day back. Parents and teachers you can find the Fall schedule HERE. Keep your eyes on your inboxes for the Parent Teacher email that will include more detailed information.
ANNUAL "WELCOME BACK" PICNIC at the Freemans' will be on Sunday, September 18th around the corner from St. Nick's. This is a lovely event full of friends, family, food and pictures for our directory!! Let's not forget to bring a dish to share, you can sign up to bring something HERE or there are sign-up sheets located in the back of the church and on the downstairs bulletin board.
ORGAN PRESENTATION On September 11th our organist, Dan Fannon, will be giving a presentation immediately following the 10am service.

PASTORAL MINISTRY If you have concern for yourself, a family member or friend, please contact the Interim Pastor, The Rev. Peter Sipple at (534 2864) or email sipplemp@gmail.com. During the interim period, five members of the parish will serve as pastoral liaisons between members of the parish and the interim pastor. You may wish to speak with one of them as well. They are, Liz Pavelka (297 4907), Polly Myhrum (297 5681), Rachel VanDerStuyf (896 2137), Melanie Hexel (297 3114), or Paul Curran (914 844 0894).
