MORE ABOUT OUR CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES

5 PM SERVICE - This is a family-friendly service with a children's anthem, children's homily, hymns and Holy Communion.  The adult choir will be singing, as well.  The service lasts about one hour.  All are welcome!

8 PM SERVICE - This service will include Holy Communion, a brief adult homily, and hymns, and lasts just under an hour.  Children are welcome at this service, as well!

Sunday services at St. Nick's, as with most Episcopal churches, follow the order of service in the Book of Common Prayer.

We have two Sunday services, one at 9 am and one at 10 am.  The 9 am service is a spoken service (no music), includes a brief homily by the Vicar, and lasts about 35 minutes.  The 10 am service includes music (hymns and the occasional choir anthem), a homily, and lasts just under an hour.   If you've never experienced an Episcopal liturgy before, both of these straightforward services are a great place to start.

        About our Organist:
Our organist, Gregory Citarella, has been with us at St. Nick's since 2003.  Prior to that, he was the organist at St. James in Hyde Park and Holy Cross in Kingston, NY.  Until recently, he was the dean of the Mid-Hudson chapter of the American Guild of Organists, and is a member of the Association of Anglican Musicians.  Gregory teaches private lessons, as well.  For more information, you can email him at the address found on our contact page.
