ANNUAL PICNIC AT THE FREEMANS' is this Sunday after church. Thank you to everyone who has chipped in to help out. This event will go on rain or shine so come dressed for the weather. Note: directory pics for new and existing parishioners will be taken on this day. Hope you all can make it!
SAVE THE DATE: BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS will be on October 2nd.
HAITI READ-A-THON CLOSING CEREMONY Thank you to all who participated in the Read-A-Thon this year. This Sunday is the time to hand in donations and envelopes. To the Outreach Committee, thank you for hosting and providing the food for coffee hour last week.
DIOCESE WORKSHOP Our Senior Warden Paul Curran will bee the workshop leader and facilitator at a Diocese of NY workshop on "Power: Sorting out Renewable Energy for our Parishes". Congregations, vestry members, and clergy will share questions, knowledge, and experience about the transition to renewable energy in our church buildings. To take place Saturday, October 1st, 10am- 3pm at Christ Church, Riverdale, 5030 Henry Hudson Parkway in the Bronx.
VESTRY & PROPERTY COMMITTEE September meeting dates have changed. Here are the newly scheduled changes:
Vestry- Wednesday September 21st at 7:30pm
Property Committee- Tuesday September 20th at 7pm
SUNDAY SCHOOL Teachers, this Sunday there will be a brief meeting after the 10am service to go over some updates and plans for the Fall & Winter. The Fall teacher schedule is HERE keep your eyes on your inboxes for the Parent Teacher email that includes more detailed information.

PASTORAL MINISTRY If you have concern for yourself, a family member or friend, please contact the Interim Pastor, The Rev. Peter Sipple at (534 2864) or email sipplemp@gmail.com. During the interim period, five members of the parish will serve as pastoral liaisons between members of the parish and the interim pastor. You may wish to speak with one of them as well. They are, Liz Pavelka (297 4907), Polly Myhrum (297 5681), Rachel VanDerStuyf (896 2137), Melanie Hexel (297 3114), or Paul Curran (914 844 0894).
SEARCH COMMITTEE The search committee has convened and they have started the process of finding a rector for St. Nick's. The following parishioners have been selected to serve on this committee. Stacey Mesler (Chair), Paul Conrad, Christine Ackerly, Rick Levitt, Sarah Brannen, Jack Parry, LeeAnn Pomplas, Alex Reese & Michelle Robbins.
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN: The windows are back! Progress pictures are are HERE but better to come and see them for yourself. Guarducci Stained Glass Studios did such a beautiful job. To anyone who would like to share pictures they have taken of the work happening at St. Nick's, you can send them to Dana at stnicholasnewhamburg@gmail.com and they will be added to the album.
