ALL SAINTS' DAY - NOVEMBER 6, 2016
PLEDGE INGATHERING THIS SUNDAY This Sunday we'll hand in our pledge cards at the offering and say a prayer of thanks over them at the altar. If you didn't receive your stewardship book at church or in the mail, please let us know! You can also mail your pledge cards into the church any time this month (or bring them another Sunday). Thank you!
ST. NICK'S CHURCH FAIR & CHILI LUNCH is Saturday, November 19th, from 10am to 3pm. Chili donations are needed!! Anyone with a good chili recipe please sign-up on the sheet in the back of the church. We will also need bakers for cookies, cakes and other sweets. Trash-and-Treasure donations can be dropped in the pews anytime after the November 13th services thru Friday November 18. Remember that item should fit into a grocery bag. No stuffed animals or clothing please.
ZION FOOD PANTRY has begun collecting donations for the annual "Thanksgiving Baskets" to help local families in need for the holiday. Please see the sign-up sheet on the downstairs bulletin board for items that can be donated.
ALTAR FLOWERS The alter flower this Sunday have been given in memory of Reiko Heady. If ever you would like to give altar flowers in memory of or thanksgiving for a loved one just sign-up on the poster downstairs and we will make sure that your memorial or thanksgiving is observed on the appropriate day. Suggested donation is $25, to be put in the plate w/ memo "flower donation".
VESTRY MEETING Next vestry meeting is on Wednesday, November 9th at 7:30pm.

SEARCH COMMITTEE The diocese has approved St. Nick's application to officially begin our search for a new Rector. Our Parish Profile has been posted on the parish website HERE. We also have a few printed copies around the church. The Search Committee will review all applications received between now and December 5 and then start evaluations. Many thanks to Serena Starzyk for coordinating the preparation of the profile and to the many parishioners who contributed to the effort.
PASTORAL MINISTRY If you have concern for yourself, a family member or friend, please contact the Interim Pastor, The Rev. Peter Sipple at (534 2864) or email [email protected]. During the interim period, five members of the parish will serve as pastoral liaisons between members of the parish and the interim pastor. You may wish to speak with one of them as well. They are, Liz Pavelka (297 4907), Polly Myhrum (297 5681), Rachel VanDerStuyf (896 2137), Melanie Hexel (297 3114), or Paul Curran (914 844 0894).
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN: Progress pictures are are HERE but better to come and see them for yourself. To anyone who would like to share pictures they have taken of the work happening at St. Nick's, you can send them to Dana at [email protected] and they will be added to the album.
