A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to the church fair & chili lunch last Saturday. The chili was yummy and there were such beautiful items for sale. Thanks to all of your efforts and donations this was yet another successful St. Nick's event!
ADVENT WREATH-MAKING COFFEE HOUR is this Sunday, November 27, during coffee hour. Come and join us for this fun activity. See you there!
FEAST OF ST. NICHOLAS OF MYRA is next Sunday, December 4th at the 10am service. Join us in welcoming St. Nicholas at his annual visit.
SUNDAY SCHOOL Parents, there will be no Sunday School on December 4th for the Feast of St. Nick's or December 11th for Lessons and Carols. We are happy to have the children upstairs to participate in both services with us.
LOVE INC. Want to learn how to be a mentor for clients??? Love Inc. is having LINC training sessions, November 29, 6:30pm and Dec. 6, 6:30pm. For more information please see the flyer on the downstairs bulletin board.
PERSONAL CARE PANTRY is in need of the following items: hairbrushes, tissues, hair conditioner and dish washing liquid. Anyone interested in donating can drop off items in the back of the church.
PLEDGE PROGRESS FOR 2017 A huge thank you to everyone who has handed in pledge cards. So far, we have 37 pledge cards totaling $88,734.00 toward our goal of $134,000.00. If you have yet to hand in your pledge card it's not to late. You can put your card in the plate any time this month, or whenever you're able. Thank you for your support! Pledge cards were included in your stewardship directories. Please contact Dana if you didn't yet receive yours.

SEARCH COMMITTEE The diocese has approved St. Nick's application to officially begin our search for a new Rector. Our Parish Profile has been posted on the parish website HERE. We also have a few printed copies around the church. The Search Committee will review all applications received between now and December 5 and then start evaluations. Many thanks to Serena Starzyk for coordinating the preparation of the profile and to the many parishioners who contributed to the effort.
PASTORAL MINISTRY If you have concern for yourself, a family member or friend, please contact the Interim Pastor, The Rev. Peter Sipple at (534 2864) or email sipplemp@gmail.com. During the interim period, five members of the parish will serve as pastoral liaisons between members of the parish and the interim pastor. You may wish to speak with one of them as well. They are, Liz Pavelka (297 4907), Polly Myhrum (297 5681), Rachel VanDerStuyf (896 2137), Melanie Hexel (297 3114), or Paul Curran (914 844 0894).
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN: Progress pictures are are HERE but better to come and see it for yourself. To anyone who would like to share pictures they have taken of the work happening at St. Nick's, you can send them to Dana at stnicholasnewhamburg@gmail.com and they will be added to the album.

COFFEE HOUR Volunteers needed!! We always have slots open for those who would like to host. It can be simple: donuts, carrot sticks, crackers and cheese - whatever you can pick up at the store.
