The Third Sunday after Pentecost
Services are at 9am & 10am

SUMMER PLANS & OL’ FLAT NICK
Summer is here, and with it comes fun, sun, and travel! As you begin to make your summer travel plans, we ask you to be faithful to your financial commitments to St. Nick's, especially as attendance fluctuates significantly during the summer months. We are grateful for your continued support of our parish and look forward to seeing you when you are here. And new this summer, we've made some St. Nicholas cutouts for you to take on your travels. Just pack Ol' Flat Nick in your suitcase and take a picture with him at the beach, at the campground, in the mountains, wherever! Then, send us your photo so we can post it in our newsletter and keep up with you. We can't wait to see where Ol' Flat Nick lands this summer!
LAST DAY OF SUNDAY SCHOOL & TEACHER APPRECIATION
This Sunday, June 10th. We will take this time to thank Jennifer Klein and all of our dedicated Sunday School teachers for another great year and celebrate with a special coffee hour hosted by our Vestry.
THE FRIENDS OF DARBONNE READ-A-THON
is underway. The kids will spend the summer reading to support school children in Darbonne, Haiti and now the adults can too! Anyone who hasn’t gotten a packet and would like one can see Deb Evans, Joan Freeman, or email Dana in the office and she’ll get the materials to you.
UPCOMING MEETINGS:
Finance Committee - Tuesday, June 12th at 7pm – Paul Curran’s office
Vestry - Wednesday, June 13th at 7:30pm – in the undercroft
VBS 2018!! This year's Vacation Bible School, "Camp Moose on the Loose," will be held the last week in June: Monday through Friday, June 25-29. This year, we will combine with the VBS at Zion Church.
Registration forms are available in the narthex
CHURCH FAIR ANNOUNCEMENT The St. Nick’s Church Fair, which has been masterfully led by Mary Hornbeck for many years, will be re-imagined in 2018. We are so grateful for Mary’s leadership but understand that everyone needs a break sometime. She is handing over the reins to new leadership for the event with her blessing. Mtr. Leigh needs help from the parish to make this event work. If you’d be interested in being a part of the re-visioning process, please let us know.
AA GROUP MEETINGS Are held in St. Nick's undercroft every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 7:30pm.
COFFEE HOUR is a great time for fellowship! Thinking about hosting? The sign-up sheet is HERE, there are always slots available so please consider signing up. We like to keep it simple so Munchkins, cheese and crackers, or even some veggies would do. 😊
