THIS SUNDAY AT ST. NICK'S
July 5, 2015
Sixth Sunday after Pentecost

NEW FOR SUMMER! CHILDCARE FOR ALL AGES DURING THE 10 AM SERVICE!  During the summer we will have nursery care AND ALSO a caregiver for any 4-12 year-olds who would like to spend the first half of the service downstairs. Many parents like to keep their kids upstairs during the summer months, which is great; this is just to give you an option and/or for kids who like the time downstairs. A caregiver will be there with art supplies and to engage the kids in games (outside on nice days). As usual, they will then join us at Communion.

SUNDAY SERVICES ARE AT 9 & 10 AM  throughout the summer, same as during the program year.

ATTENTION!! TO ALL ON THE FINANCE COMMITTEE the next meeting will be held on will be on July 8th at 7pm.

WELCOME TO DAN FANNON, OUR NEW ORGANIST! If you didn't see the special announcement about Dan in your email inbox yet, HERE it is again.

THE NEXT PROPERTY COMMITTEE MEETING The property committee will meet at 7:30 pm on July 13th in the undercroft to discuss our upcoming projects as well as current maintenance needs. All are welcome; we can always use more members! For more info, contact our junior warden, Justin Johnson, at justinj1972@hotmail.com.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN NEWS Thank you to everyone who got your pledges in by the June 21 deadline! We are are a whopping 88% of the way toward our goal, and are confident we can get all the way there. It's definitely not too late to hand in your pledge! Cards are in the back of the church every Sunday and you can either put it in the plate or mail it. You can also give online by clicking the link on our website.

ANNUAL PERSONAL CARE PANTRY DRIVE lets not forget to help supply the Personal Care Pantry for Love INC. We are signed up for July but helping out in August as well would be so helpful. During the summer supplies dwindle at the pantry and they could really use our donations. The donation box is located in the back of the church. The most needed supplies are: Laundry soap, toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels and tissues. Some other items you can donate are: shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, lotion, razors, sanitary pads, bath soap, tooth paste and toothbrushes. If you would like more information please contact Liz Pavelka.

FURNITURE MISSION Love INC. is looking for furniture donations to help families in need. Please click HERE for a full list of items they are in need of.

REMEMBER THE ZION FOOD PANTRY The food pantry at Zion is in need of additional donations. Remember to bring non-perishable food items to church each Sunday and add them to the basket in the narthex.

HAITI READ-A-THON PACKETS AVAILABLE AT THE CHURCH This is our second year with this project. Your child only has to read to raise money to support children at the Episcopal school in Darbonne, Haiti!

HELP NEEDED!! COFFEE HOUR - SIGN UP HERE We have LOTS of coffee hour slots open. It can be simple: donuts, carrot sticks, crackers and cheese - whatever you can pick up at the store. The coffee is already made. Click on the link for ideas/instructions, and to sign up. Thank you!

SILENT AUCTION SAVE THE DATE! This year's silent auction is September 26 at Longobardi's. Tickets will be on sale starting in July at $35 a ticket, a portion of which goes to support St. Nick's. Save the date!
