As always, we will move briskly, catching up on church business and - importantly - the status of our capital campaign surveys and studies over the past year. All are welcome & encouraged to attend, however long you've been attending St. Nick's.

CHILDCARE IN UNDERCROFT DURING ANNUAL MEETING Professional childcare will be available during our annual meeting, starting at 10:45 am in the undercroft. Katie Graves-Abe, mom of Oliver and Lucie, will be providing snacks, and we'll have games and a video to show.
PROPERTY COMMITTEE MEETINGNEXT MONDAY JANUARY 26 AT 7 PM The property committee meets this coming Monday at 7 PM to catch up on LOTS of issues, from nuts and bolts like heating issues and snow removal to bigger capital campaign issues that will be raised at Sunday's annual meeting. LOVE INC NEWS: ANNUAL COOKIE WALK & SEEKING DRESSER DONATIONS The Annual Cookie Walk takes place on Saturday February 7, 9 am - 2 pm. Basically, we bake a lot of cookies, bring them to the church on February 6th, and those cookies are then sold at the Poughkeepsie Methodist Church on the 7th to raise money for Love INC's operating budget. ADULT CONFIRMATION INFORMATIONAL MEETING IN PREPARATION FOR BISHOP'S VISIT ON SUNDAY FEBRUARY 1 The suffragan bishop of New York, Alan Shin, is visiting St. Nick's on Sunday March 22, and we are looking to gather a group of adults wishing to be confirmed in the Episcopal Church. You'll be in good company: several of our vestry members are joining the ranks of the about-to-be-confirmed. To prepare, we will be having a brief informational meeting after the 10 am service on Sunday, February 1.
ALSO LOOKING AHEAD, MARDIS GRAS PANCAKE SUPPER: NEED VOLUNTEER HELP Shrove Tuesday is coming up on February 17, and we are looking for volunteers to help set up, cook and clean. The sign-up sheet will be distributed in church starting February 1. Meantime, mark your calendars!
