Hi parishioners - this Sunday is already the first Sunday in Lent, the church's forty-day season of self-examination and reflection. Remember that "Lent" means "spring," pointing us forward to warmer days ahead - a needed reminder as we slog through this frigid winter weather. Speaking of - hope everyone is staying warm, and see you Sunday! - Astrid
THANK YOU to everyone who helped with the pancake supper, including Angelo and Barbara Giaimo, Mary Hornbeck, Jack and Beth Devine, Eileen Doherty, Liz Pavelka, Melanie Hexel, Jen Urciuoli, and our children servers: Finn and Josie, Lyndsey, Livia, and Samantha.
SUNDAY SCHOOL LENTEN PROJECT FOR EPISCOPAL RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT BEGINS THIS SUNDAY For the second year in a row, the kids will begin collecting change this Sunday to buy their choice of animals - pigs, goats, chickens - for families in the developing world. This project was a huge hit last year. Listen this Sunday for how all of us can take part.
