BIG THANKS to everyone who baked cookies for the LOVE Inc. cookie walk this year. There were 100 volunteers for this fundraiser and 676 dozen cookies donated! 300 boxes of cookies were sold raising $5,772 for Mid-Hudson Love in-the-name-of-Christ. Whoo-Hoo!
“NEW” ROTA THROUGH JUNE 2020 is being drafted now. If there is anyone that would like to be added to our Sunday Participant rotation, please contact Dana in the office at stnicholasnewhamburg@gmail.com.
SHROVE TUESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER, FEBRUARY 25TH
Volunteers are needed for this event and a signup sheet is in the back of the church. Even if you can’t volunteer, please plan to come and feast on pancakes, sausages and jambalaya. New Hamburg Fire Station No. 1, 15 Channingville Road, New Hamburg, NY 12590. A special thanks to Angelo & Barbara Giaimo for coordinating this event again this year.

MARCH 22nd: Polly Myhrum Pottery Fellowship Event: Make, glaze, and fire your own piece of pottery! $25 buys you all materials and the expertise and hospitality of our very own Polly Myhrum. Space for this event is limited to 12 people. Signup sheet will be available in the narthex.

COMING SOON: LENT MADNESS - Who will win the golden halo?
ASH WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26TH, SERVICES AT 12PM & 7:30PM Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. Please plan to come and receive the imposition of ashes during a short service with Holy Eucharist. Mtr Leigh will also bring “Ashes-To-Go” to the New Hamburg train station, beginning at 5am for our commuter friends & family. 😊
WEDNESDAYS IN LENT Join Mtr. Leigh for Wendell Berry Wednesdays, an adult formation opportunity focusing on sabbath. Berry’s This Day: Collected and New Sabbath Poems. Each session will be offered twice on Wednesdays: once during the day (with Holy Eucharist at noon followed by soup and discussion at 12:30p) and once in the evening (with spoken Evening Prayer at 6p followed by soup and discussion at 6:30p).
GROUNDHOG OFFICE HOURS ARE BACK
Mtr. Leigh is available Wednesdays for Groundhog Office Hours from 10a to 12p at the Groundhog Coffee Shop in the Village: 2703 W Main St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
