THANK YOU to everyone who made last week's Vacation Bible School such a success! You can find pics of the week on Facebook HERE. A special thank-you to our fantastic volunteers: Jack and Beth Devine, Jen Urciuoli, Rachel VanderStuyf, Evelyn Conners, George Hemroth, Melanie Hexel, Mary Hornbeck, and Cheryl Lange-Barber.
SAVE THE DATE: SEPTEMBER 21 PARISH PICNIC AND PICTORIAL DIRECTORY ROUND-UP AT THE FREEMANS Next month we will have a welcome-back picnic around the corner (on the river!) at the Freemans' home. You can sign up to help HERE or on the sign-up sheet in the undercroft. Someone will also be taking pictures at that event for our fall directory (with names & faces matched this year), so please plan to be there if you can.
SUNDAY SCHOOL & NURSERY RESUME SEPTEMBER 7 In just two weeks, our regular programs for kids will resume as normal.
SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER SCHEDULE is now available HERE. Teachers, note some slight changes from the previous rota.
THE HAITI READ-A-THON is now finished! On August 24 & 31, we will collect and hand in our donations, and on September 7 (after church) we will have a party at nearby Zion Church.
NEWCOMER CLASS SEPTEMBER 20, 10 AM - NOON New to St. Nick's? This class will introduce you to the history and theology of the Episcopal Church, and also to fellow newcomers to St. Nick's. IF YOU NEED CHILDCARE, let Astrid or Cara know right away and we will gladly provide that.
COFFEE HOUR HOSTS ALWAYS NEEDED Sign up here or at the church. Remember, "keep it simple" is our motto (and that the coffee is already made for you).
SILENT AUCTION TICKETS Available now! $35 per person. See Jen U., Mary H. or Joe H. for tickets. It will take place October 4th from 6-9 pm at Longabardi's Restaurant.
HELP US THROUGH THE SUMMER: REMEMBER YOUR PLEDGES! Because so many of us travel during the summer, we tend to have a tough time making ends meet during these months. If you can, please help us by sending in pledges through the mail. (Remember, too, there's an auto-pay process that you can sign up for any time. That service is a huge help to our budget.) Pardon for having to ask this, but we want to keep our little parish afloat!
NEW! FALL ROTA IS NOW AVAILABLE The fall rota is available HERE.Email Cara if you see any changes that need to be made.
CARA OUT OF THE OFFICE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2 Please direct questions during that time to Astrid instead.
