HAITI READ-A-THON NEWS Our Summer Read-A-Thon is currently underway. For all children who are participating - please turn in your participation forms (from the information packet) at church on Sunday, or email Joan Freeman joanfreeman3@gmail.com so we can have an accurate list. There are still more information packets available if you would like to join in. The list of participants will be posted on the bulletin board in the undercroft and children can indicate their progress with stickers.  Anyone wishing to sponsor a child please check the list and contact a participant. Or a one-time donation to the Read-A-Thon can be placed in the plate at church. Pledge money should be turned in by September 6. Our closing ceremony will be September 13, at 11:45 at St. Nick's. Happy Reading!

CHILDCARE FOR ALL AGES DURING THE 10 AM SERVICE!  During the summer we will have nursery care AND ALSO a caregiver for any 4-12 year-olds who would like the option spending the first half of the service downstairs. A caregiver will be there with art supplies and to engage the kids in games (outside on nice days). As usual, they will then join us at Communion.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN NEWS Thanks to all contributors for a successful Capital Campaign!  With the pledges received thus far, combined with the diocesan grant of $50,000 towards exterior work, we have exceeded our Capital Campaign goal of $265,000! Pledges so far have met 89% of our goal. For those still interested in pledging it's definitely not too late! Cards are in the back of the church every Sunday and you can either put it in the plate or mail it. You can also give online by clicking the link on our website. Remember, what's most important is that as many of us participate as possible, regardless of amount given. So please consider making a pledge if you haven't already!
