A very happy Fourth of July weekend to everyone! Also, a quick heads-up that you will be getting your mid-year pledge statements via email early next week. Because so many of us travel during the summer, we tend to have a tougher time making ends meet during these months. If you can, please help us by sending in pledges through the mail. (Remember, too, there's an auto-pay process that you can sign up for any time. That service is a huge help to our budget.) Thanks, as always, for all your support for our little parish.

HAITI READ-A-THON Thank you to all the kids who have signed up to read this summer in support of students in Darbonne, Haiti. So far, we have thirteen kids signed up! It's STILL not too late to get started. All the information you need is HERE, and you can email Cara your child's name so she knows to add him or her to the list.
COFFEE HOUR HOSTS NEEDED for our summer Sundays (sign up here or at the church). Remember, "keep it simple" is our summer motto!
NEWCOMER CLASS New(ish) to St. Nick's and interested in learning more about us? Astrid is putting together a newcomer class, date TBA, probably late summer or early fall. Email her at [email protected] if you're interested and she'll add you to the list.
JULY IS LOVE INC PERSONAL CARE PANTRY MONTH As in years past, throughout the month of July we will be collecting items for the Love INC personal care pantry. Liz will have lists of specific needed items available on the first Sunday of July. Stay tuned!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: SAVE THE DATE AND REGISTER ONLINE This year's vacation bible school is AUGUST 11-15, and our theme is Five Stories from Luke's Gospel. Geared toward ages 4-12. If you know your son or daughter will be attending, you can register them with Cara, our office manager, by emailing her directly.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: SIGN UP ONLINE
Several area churches are hoping to build a home together in Poughkeepsie, and we need volunteeres to sign up. Click here to sign up right through Habitat Dutchess website, or contact our liason, Eileen Doherty, for more information.
