CHILI FEST & CRAFT FAIR NOVEMBER 21ST This year's chili fest, craft fair and "Trash-n-Treasure" Bag sale will be on Saturday November 21. If you're cleaning out and have things you'd like to sell, please set them aside and bring them to church the week of November 15. Also, there will be an informational meeting this Sunday at St. Nick's following our first service @ 9:45.

POLLY MYHRUM POTTERY  Will also be participating in the chili & craft fair and festival on November 21st. Swing by the studio for her annual Holiday Sale!!

PLEDGE PROGRESS FOR 2016 A huge thank you to everyone who handed in your pledge cards at our pledge ingathering last Sunday. So far, we have 28 pledge cards totaling $59,564.00 toward our goal of ~70 pledge cards totaling $155,000.00. You can put your card in the plate any time this month, or whenever you're able. Thank you for your support! Pledge cards were included in your stewardship yearbook & directories. Please contact Dana if you didn't yet receive yours.

FALL SERIES "WASTE NOT" CONTINUES NOVEMBER 15 The next installment of our Waste Not series is in just one week, and one of the founders of ZeroToGo in Beacon will be speaking with us about her organization's work to eliminate all food and paper/plastic waste. In December, Mother Storm and the wardens will lead a discussion about the pope's recent encyclical on the environment and also the Anglican Communion's statements on this subject. Join us!

NEW!! THURSDAY LUNCHTIME BIBLE STUDY ON SUNDAY'S READINGS Drop in when you can at noon every Thursday for a short service of noonday prayer followed by 45 minutes of Bible study and discussion on the texts for the coming Sunday! This is a totally casual, no pressure, come-as-you-can sort of thing. Hope to see you there! Runs noon-1 pm.

CHOIR REHEARSALS HAVE BEGUN!! - NEW MEMBERS ALWAYS WELCOME It's that time! Our choir has begun preparing for the Lessons and Carols and Christmas Eve services. Rehearsals take place after church. IN THE AREA: SUNDAY NOVEMBER 8, CONCERT OF MUSIC FOR ORGAN AND WOMEN'S CHOIR BY WOMEN COMPOSERS Presented by Gail Archer, organist professor at Vassar College, and the Vassar College Women's Choir. The concert will include a cappella works of women composers and the proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity. At Christ Church Episcopal, 20 Carroll Street in Poughkeepsie, $15. Concert begins at 7 pm.
ALSO IN THE AREA: THE TREBLE CHORISTERS OF THE ST. THOMAS 5TH AVENUE BOY'S CHOIR will perform at Zion Church in Wappingers Falls on Friday, November 20 at 6 pm. Tickets available here or at the door.

SUNDAY SCHOOL Kids ages 4-12 are welcome to join the Sunday school group downstairs for the first half of the 10 am service. Older kids who would like to help can also attend. The kids are currently doing an eight-week unit on the creation story in Genesis with an emphasis on stewardship of God's earth.
