Hi parents & teachers - A big congratulations, again, to the Landsman kids (Tyler, Max and Mia), whom we baptized last week!
Remember our Lenten project of collecting change to support Episcopal Relief and Development's "Gifts for Life" program. Send your kids to Sunday school with some spare change to help them reach their goal!
Meanwhile, the kids will continue their lessons on the Old Testament prophets, with Alex Reese & Michelle Robbins this week.
The bishop's visit is next Sunday, March 22, and we have a LOT of our fellow parents being confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church, including Katie Graves-Abe, Christine Stasaitis, Jamie Landsman, Paul Bruening, Justin Johnson, Janine Gauzza, and Darren & Debbie Salisbury - what a group! Come out on the 22nd to support them if you can.
We're looking for volunteers to help with the Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday, April 5. Contact me if you're willing to help out, and I'll put all the volunteers in touch so you can begin planning.
And, remember to Save the date: Vacation Bible School is July 27-31. VBS is open to everyone ages 4-12, and runs from 9:30 - noon. It culminates in a big play the Sunday following, August 2. Spread the word!
Teachers, the teaching schedule is available here. I will soon post the calendar through my maternity leave (April 12 to mid-June).
Have a great weekend and see you Sunday!
