Sunday School & Nursery News for March 30, 2014 Hi Parents & Teachers! Easter's coming soon, and we have a lot coming up for our kids. First, remember we have just 2 Sundays left for our Lenten outreach project. Each week the kids receive plastic eggs to take home, which they then bring back with an offering inside that will go toward the purchase of a flock of chickens, goat, or pig for a family in a developing country. The flyer for that is HERE if you didn't already receive one.
Also, the Children's Good Friday service is on Friday April 18, 10 - 11 am. This is an interactive service at which I walk them through the final events of Jesus' life, including the Last Supper, the Trial, the Garden of Gethsemane, and the Passion. For ages 4-12, with the older ones helping. Spread the word and invite friends!
And finally, the Children's Easter Egg Hunt is at 11 am on April 20, right after the Easter service. Thank you to Katie, Janine, Christine and Rachel for helping organize this!
More immediately, the Farming Series concludes this Sunday and we will have childcare available from 11 - noon,and this week in Sunday school the kids will continue to review their lessons on the patriarchs.
