Hi Parents & Teachers - This Sunday is the last week of Sunday school until September. As in years past, we'll be thanking our teachers at the announcements during the 10 am service. Please try to make it if you can!
Summer Read-a-thon Materials Your child can raise money for the Episcopal school in Darbonne, Haiti, merely by reading! You can pick up a packet of materials in Sunday school OR click here and print your own.
Read-a-thon Sponsor Sign-up "Blitz" June 22 at Coffee Hour Throughout the summer, your kids can bring their sign-up sheets for the readathon to any coffee hour or church service and pass it around to get sponsors. On June 22, we'll have a coffee hour specifically for kids to collect sponsors, so do encourage them to bring their sheets that day in particular.
Also on Sunday June 22, four boys from the St. Thomas Fifth Avenue boys' choir will be at the 10 am service to sing for us. This choir is amazing (and quite famous), so this should be a great day to let your child hear some very talented young musicians.
And finally, remember Vacation Bible School is August 11-15, 9:30 am - noon, kids ages 4-12. If your child will be attending, you can register early by contacting Cara Ginder at stnicholasnewhamburg.org. Or you can register closer to the date - that's fine, too.
This Sunday's Teachers: Andrew and Marcus
This Sunday's Nursery Volunteer: Leeann Pomplas
Have a good weekend and see you Sunday!
-Astrid
