Parent/Teacher News for December 15
Festival of Lessons & Carols
Hi parents and teachers - this Sunday we WILL have Sunday school for the first half of the service of Lessons and Carols, with the kids joining us for plenty of singing during the second half of the service.  In Sunday school, the kids will learn more about the season of Advent, as well as make their new liturgical calendar for the 2013/14 year (the liturgical new year started December 1).

Also, a reminder that Jen Urciuoli (aka Samantha and Natalie's mom) is still gathering Planning Committee surveys from all our teachers and parents.  I know it's a crazy time of year, but if you can take just a few minutes to fill it out, that would be super helpful. HERE'S a link to the document, which you can print, fill out and give to Jen on Sunday OR fill out and email to her at jenstrose@hotmail.com.  We want everyone's input, especially that of our parents!

Better yet, Jen is having a meeting next Wednesday December 18 at 7:30 pm at the church.  She promises to keep it brief, and would love to hear from people in person.  But email is great, too - just so we get your thoughts.

See you Sunday!
Astrid

Christmas Eve Services at 5 & 10 pm
Our 5 pm Christmas eve service will feature our choir and a children's homily. The 10 pm service is a quieter service, with congregational hymns and an adult homily.
