HELLO PARENTS AND TEACHERS Happy Mother's Day (soon) to our moms out there! This week the kids will wrap up our "Stories of Easter" series with the Ascension of Jesus into heaven. The kids have a great craft lined up to illustrate the lesson. Also, thanks to all who came out last week for the Blessing of the Fields! We had a fun, and very muddy, time!
EPISCOPAL CHARITIES SUNDAY IS THIS SUNDAY MAY 8 AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR FOOD DONATIONS FROM OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL KIDS Send your child to Sunday school this week with a food item to benefit Zion Food Pantry. Items we'd like to collect include: cereal, peanut butter, mac-n-cheese, cans of fruit/vegetables, tomato sauce, soup and pasta. Here's a flyer with more information.

Click here for the schedule. Teachers note: I put just two of you on for each week, but will call in a 3rd volunteer for craft-heavy weeks. Please keep an eye when you drop your kids off to make sure the teachers are set.
LOOKING AHEAD: CONFIRMATION CLASS MEETING SUNDAY JUNE 12 Have a child of confirmation age? The bishop will be visiting sometime in 2017, and if your son or daughter will be twelve by the beginning of the year, then they can begin confirmation classes this fall! Stick around for a brief meeting after church on June 12. We will look over the fall calendar and talk briefly about topics covered in the classes.
