Hi parents & teachers - This Sunday we'll return to our Old Testament lessons with a class on the prophet Samuel, also the subject of our first reading and homily in adult church upstairs. Teachers for this week are Jen and Sarah.
Remember our Annual Meeting on January 25, for which we will have professional childcare available. Katie, Oliver and Lucie's mom, will be providing substantive snacks for the kids to enjoy.
Also, the February 8 fundraiser at Outback Steakhouse welcomes kids - in fact, kids 7 and under are free! Tickets for that will be for sale this Sunday and next (Jan 18 & 25).
Finally, looking ahead, February 17 is the Shrove Tuesday Pancake supper, another fun family event for the whole parish. It will be at the New Hamburg Firehouse again this year, and we hope to have some of our kids be the servers. You'll be hearing soon from Jen Urciuoli (Natalie and Samantha's mom) about that.
Teachers, the winter teaching schedule is available here.
And a reminder from Caitlin, our nursery caregiver, that we can always use more volunteers to help out. Ideally, the nursery is run by Caitlin *and* a parent volunteer each week. You can reach her by email at [email protected].
Stay warm, and and see you Sunday!
