Sunday School This Week January 11, 2015

Hi parents & teachers - This Sunday the kids will continue learning about the Magi or Three Kings, culminating in a (very low key) Epiphany Procession during the offertory hymn, to the hymn "We Three Kings". Thanks to Alex and Derek, this Sunday's teachers.

Teachers, remember, that the winter teaching schedule is available here. If you see any dates that don't work for you, just let me know (or email the others to make a switch).

A reminder from Caitlin, our nursery caregiver, that we can always use more volunteers to help out. Ideally, the nursery is run by Caitlin *and* a parent volunteer each week. You can reach her by email at cratzlaff6@gmail.com.

Looking ahead, Vacation Bible School is the last week of July, for those making summer (ahhh) plans.

And I'll put this out there one more time: the dates for the high school Civil Rights Pilgrimage for next August have been set for August 13 - 15 (Thurs - Sat), and the cost is only $150 per student, including travel (it's funded largely by the diocese). HERE is a flyer from last year's trip, which I heard very good reports about. Please let me know if your child may be interested because the planning is now underway.
