Hi Parents & Teachers - What a good group of kids last week! They learned all about Adam and Eve, and this weekend, our Old Testament lessons continue with Noah and the ark. You can now learn what theylearned with our new "What I learned today" take-home sheets (like the meaning of the name "Noah," or why it's called an "ark" not a "boat). Other news ...
Remember the potluck picnic after church this Sunday and get your family's picture taken for our directory! Our directory this year, for parishioner use only (and not online), will match names and faces, so we can get to know each other better. Please plan to get your picture taken this Sunday at the picnic at the Freeman's home.
Read-a-thon raised over $1200! Great job to our kids! The proceeds support the Episcopal School in Darbonne, Haiti, where $285 supports one child for an entire school year. If you still have money to hand in, it's not too late - really. Just bring it with you on Sunday and we'll make sure it gets where it needs to go.
Nursery News Caitlin, our nursery coordinator, is always looking for more help in the nursery. Please email her directly if you're able to help out. She can be reached at [email protected].
Remember our Sunday School teacher meeting/check-in after the 10 am service on September 28. Teachers, please try to hang around that day if you can. Any parents interested in teaching? Email me or stick around for that meeting to learn more.
Have a great weekend and see you Sunday!
