Hi Parents & Teachers - This Sunday the "Treble Choristers" from the St. Thomas Fifth Avenue boys' choir will sing two anthems at the 10 am service to help raise awareness for our Darbonne summer read-a-thon. Also, I will begin our 10 am service with a short explanation to the kids (a sort of children's homily) of why they're raising this money and where Darbonne is. NOTE: Have your kids bring their sponsor sheets to get sponsors during coffee hour. We're going to have a big push for sponsors this week, so don't miss this chance!
Summer Read-a-thon Materials Your child can raise money for the Episcopal School in Darbonne, Haiti, merely by reading! You can pick up a packet of materials on Sunday (downstairs by the piano/Sunday school area) OR click here and print your own. All ages are welcome, even kids who are read to (like Inigo).
Remember, too, that Sunday school is adjourned until September,Nursery runs through the end of June. Throughout the summer, we will have coloring materials for the kids upstairs in the church. Especially starting in July, services and hymns will be kept briefer than during the year to better accommodate our kids.
And finally, remember Vacation Bible School is August 11-15, 9:30 am - noon, for kids ages 4-12 (3 year-olds welcome with a parent or prior notice). If your child will be attending, you can register by contacting Cara Ginder at [email protected].

Have a good weekend and see you Sunday!
