HELLO PARENTS AND TEACHERS! This Sunday wraps up our unit on the season of Epiphany (Lent starts next week!) with the story of the Transfiguration. The kids will learn all about Jesus' "Mountaintop Experience" and share a few of their own, too!
Also, thanks to everyone who made it to last Sunday's Annual Meeting. The kids had a great time hanging out in the undercroft. Thanks, also, to Katie (Oliver and Lucie's mom) for organizing that! THIS TUESDAY IS THE PANCAKE SUPPER, an especially popular event with the kids. Sign up your children to bus tables, OR just show up, take it easy, and eat pancakes! More below.

SHROVE TUESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER NEXT WEEK!! FEB 10 - SIGN UP YOUR KIDS TO HELP SERVE! Don't miss your once chance a year to eat pancakes for supper - because the Church tells you to! Shrove (or "fat") Tuesday is the name we give the day before Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent. This year, I will make sure the Sunday school lesson that week explains what this is to the kids. Please plan to attend, and consider signing up your child to bus tables (link above). The kids LOVE doing this, and it's a huge help.
ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE IS FEBRUARY 10 AT 7 PM This short service with imposition of ashes and Communion starts off the season of Lent. Children are always welcome to attend. Lasts about 35 minutes.
