Hi Parents & Teachers - This Sunday is Pentecost, the birthday of the church, followed by our annual Pentecost potluck. It's not too late to bring something - anything you can bring will be great. The master list will be available in tomorrow's parish email, so you can see first what others are bringing.
Summer Read-a-thon Materials Your child can raise money for the Episcopal school in Darbonne, Haiti, merely by reading! You can pick up a packet of materials in Sunday school OR click here and print your own.
NOTE: Your child can bring his or her sponsor form to church and get people to sign up here. That's the easiest way - just like selling Girl Scout cookies, they'll carry their sponsor forms and get people to write down their names. The potluck this Sunday is a great opportunity to sign people up!
Next week, June 15, we'll thank our Sunday school teachers at the announcements during the 10 am service. Teachers, please try to be there that day, and same with parents and students!
And finally, remember Vacation Bible School is August 11-15, 9:30 am - noon, kids ages 4-12. If your child will be attending, you can register early by contacting Cara Ginder at stnicholasnewhamburg.org. Or you can register closer to the date - that's fine, too.
This Sunday's Teachers: Jack and Maria
This Sunday's Nursery Volunteer: Marcus
Have a good weekend and see you Sunday!
