HELLO PARENTS AND TEACHERS!
This Sunday the kids will be working on making thank-you cards for the Sunday school teachers - that is, drawings that Dana and I will make into nice note cards to hand out on June 12 for Teacher Appreciation. (The one above by Grace Wainwright is from a previous year, and one of my all-time favorites.) If your kids can make it, that will ensure that we have as many drawings to choose from as possible!
MORE READ-A-THON PACKETS AVAILABLE THIS SUNDAY If your child would like to participate in the summer read-a-thon and didn't yet get a packet, we'll have more available this week. The Read-a-thon supports school children in Darbonne, Haiti and more information about that is in the packets.
CONFIRMATION NEWS!! I (Mo. Storm) sent an email today (Thurs) about how we will proceed with confirmation class in preparation for the bishop's 2017 visit. Click here if you didn't see that email.
SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR FALL 2016 - TRANSITION NEWS - PLEASE READ! By fall, we will have an interim priest in place, but to help him or her with the transition, I set up the first six weeks of Sunday school lessons. Teachers! If you can take one on as "head teacher", meaning you will write the curriculum based on the theme she'll give you for that day, please sign up right on this document. You should have received an email about this yesterday in your inbox. The "editing" feature is now turned on, so you can write on the document.
FINAL DAY OF SUNDAY SCHOOL - JUNE 12 (+ TEACHER APPRECIATION) Teachers, please plan to attend the 10 o'clock service on June 12 so we can thank you for all your work this year.
