Hi parents & teachers - it's Astrid here ... hence the delay in getting this out! But I wanted to briefly remind you of our special guest in Sunday school this week, Lucas Ratzlaff, who will be giving an educational presentation to kick-off a READ-A-THON FUNDRAISER FOR HAITI. Next Sunday is our official kick-off, when materials and instructions will be distributed.
Also, since this Sunday is PENTECOST SUNDAY, remember to have your kids WEAR RED, the color of the Holy Spirit.
After church this Sunday is the annual NEW HAMBURG MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE at the Yacht Club, which kids are always welcome to attend. It's a moving service, and a great way to remember the meaning of the weekend.
TEACHER APPRECIATION SUNDAY IS JUNE 14 Come out to thank our teachers on June 14 during announcements at the 10 am service.
And finally, SAVE THE DATE: Vacation Bible School is July 27th-31st. VBS is open to everyone ages 4-12, and runs from 9:30- noon. It culminates into a big play the Sunday following , August 2. Spread the word!
