Hello Parents & Teachers - This Sunday the kids will continue their work on their year-end teacher gifts, so again - the more we have to work on this project, the better.
Also, we are still in the process of hiring a nursery worker who will be able to take on some added responsibilities in the nursery. The job description is HERE, and if you know of anyone who might be interested in applying, please send this along to them and have them contact me at my email ([email protected]) or by phone (917-621-5153). I'm hoping to have the new worker in place by June 16.

TEACHER APPRECIATION SUNDAY IS JUNE 16
Our annual show of appreciation for our Sunday school teachers is on June 16 at the 10 am service. Please try to be there for this. This is also the last day of Sunday school until the fall. Coloring sheets and crayons will be made available to the children all summer long.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL IS JULY 22-26, 9:30 - NOON AGES 4-12
This year's Vacation Bible School continues our "Bible in Books" theme with 10 more stories from the Old Testament, including Cain and Abel, The Tower of Babel, The tale of Tobias and the story of Sampson! Spread the word - all are welcome.
SAFE CHURCH WORKSHOP IS SATURDAY JUNE 22
The Episcopal Diocese of New York strongly recommends that all people who work with children in their parishes attend a three-hour workshop at which we learn how we can make sure our church as safe an environment as it can possibly be for our little ones. Our speaker is all lined up to come to talk to us on June 22, 9 am - noon. We'll have plenty of coffee and donuts to keep us going AND I'm researching possible childcare options ... more on that soon.
