Hi parents & teachers - this Sunday in Sunday school the kids will learn the story of the Annunciation, which we always read on the 4th Sunday of Advent. Thank you to Alex and Marcus, our teachers for Sunday - and also to Andrew, who will be covering for Caitlin this week when she's away (go dads!).
Our Christmas Eve services are at 5 pm and 10 pm, the 5 pm service being very family friendly with a children's homily (and under an hour). We'll also enjoy some music from Eden, Elizabeth, and Aidan before the service - and, of course, the choir.
I will soon be making the teacher schedule for January - March, so if you would like to teach this coming year, that would be great! Just let me know and I'll explain how it works.
Finally, remember that the priests from the Episcopal Church in Millbrook and Highland Falls are planning a Civil Rights Pilgrimage for next August (the second week of August) for high schoolers in their parishes, and we've been invited to participate. HERE is a flyer from last year's trip, which I heard very good reports about. Please let me know if your child may be interested. I'd like to send a couple kids and adults from St. Nick's.
Have a great weekend, and see you Sunday!
