HELLO PARENTS AND TEACHERS
This Sunday we'll be enjoying our annual service of Lessons and Carols at the 10 am service, but before that, children are welcome to spend the first half of that service downstairs in Sunday school, where we'll be learning about St. Lucy, whose feast day is every year on December 13! St. Lucy's day is a celebration of light during this dark time of the year, and (along with St. Nick's Feast Day) part of the exciting build-up to Christmas in the Christian calendar.
See you Sunday!
Astrid
FEAST OF ST. NICHOLAS PICTURES
What a great day last Sunday! A big thank you to St. Nicholas for visiting us again this year, and for the important reminder of what the season is really about. For some pictures, click here, and if you have any more to share, please send them to me (Astrid) and I'll add them to this album.
CHRISTMAS ANGELS - THANK YOU!
From our Warden: THANK YOU to all the generous families who have committed to participate in the program with Mid Hudson LOVE INC to purchase Christmas presents for children of LOVE INC families. We distributed responsibility for all 20 families last Sunday! A reminder that presents should be wrapped and labelled and brought to the church undercroft by next Sunday, December 20.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR TEENAGERS THROUGH THE NATIONAL EPISCOPAL CHURCH: 2016 YOUTH TRIP TO THE UN and EPISCOPAL SERVICE CORPS
The National Episcopal Church and wider Anglican Communion offer LOADS of opportunities for kids to get involved with local and international efforts. One is the upcoming Leadership Forum, open to kids from all over the country. Click HERE for the flyer and contact me (Astrid) if you'd like an application. Also, the Episcopal Service Corps (sort of like the Peace Corps) offers a variety of ways for kids to spend time abroad. HERE is information about that. Applications are now being accepted, so contact me if you have more questions
